Hand-drawn Menu
SumSum House is a neighborhood eatery serving warmth on every plate. The illustrated menu design draws directly from Hong Kong’s everyday culinary rhythm — transforming local dishes into vivid, approachable visuals.
Each section of the menu is hand-drawn and color-coded, presenting nostalgic items like tomato breakfasts, and iced drink combos with clarity and charm. The typography mimics retro menu signage, while the layout balances playfulness with legibility.
Beyond aesthetics, this menu reflects the emotional fabric of Hong Kong’s food culture: affordable, flavorful, and always close to home. The result is more than a design — it’s a visual homage to shared tables, neighborhood flavors, and daily comfort.
