Cocktail Photography

This cocktail photography series constructs an immersive space of ritual and recollection through the interplay of shadowy lighting and drifting smoke. Each shot suspends time — the slow burn of incense, the swirl of mist, the glint on glass — crafting a cinematic stillness that echoes the meditative nature of a night drink.
Each cocktail embodies a mood, a story, a personae. From flaming bitterness to floral longing, these drinks are not static recipes but visual characters. In this series, their names, colors, and vessels are all dramatized into theatrical tableaux — where each image is a scene, each drink a monologue. The viewer doesn’t just see a cocktail; they are invited into a memory, a state, a fleeting emotion.
Rather than merely promoting beverages, the photography evokes sensation: the weight of silence, the heat of yearning, the sting of memory. The drink becomes a ritual — not of consumption, but of transformation. And Kowloon Walled City becomes not just a bar, but a myth. This is an invitation into emotion, bottled and lit for those who still feel.
